About Silho

I've always felt like I had no "gifts or talents". I have always relied on skill based performance and held mostly administrative jobs. Over the years, the hectic commute, office politics and never getting time off was taking a toll on me. During a tearful prayer, I asked God to reveal to me any gifts or talents that I may not be aware of.

A couple of months later, I moved to a new place and wanted to decorate my walls but could never find art that spoke to me. I had images in my head of certain paintings but could not find anything like them in the stores. It was then that I made a decision that would change my life forever. I decided to create the art myself.

I painted my first silhouette in 2016. I was so happy with it that I decided to post it on social media. I received so much positive feedback that I got the confidence to continue painting. At the age of 30, with no background in art, God revealed to me the gift of painting. One year later, I quit my hospital administration job and focused on being a fulltime artist. This was the birth of my art business, Silho Art. Over the years, I have shipped paintings and prints all over the nation and even internationally. I am proof that it is never too late!
